How EPIC is Your Career?

The EPIC formula
Career success isn’t just about working hard – it’s about working smart, with self-awareness, strategic focus, and visibility. At Elevate Talent, we know that many high-potential professionals are busy delivering results but rarely pause to reflect on how their career is progressing – or what might be holding them back.

That’s why we created the EPIC Career Quiz: a simple but powerful tool to help you understand how your current behaviours align with the four key drivers of career progression – Exposure, Performance, Impact, and Consciousness.

What You'll Gain - By taking the quiz, you'll be able to:

1
2
3

Spot your strengths – Build confidence by recognising where you’re already performing well.

  1. Refine your strategy – Discover how to amplify what’s working to build influence and get noticed.

Identify blind spots – Uncover which elements of the EPIC Formula® you may be neglecting – and how to fix them.

Why It Matters:

  • Are the right people aware of your work and potential
  • Is your performance encouraging others to trust and support you?
  • Are you clear on your strengths – and where you need to grow?

The EPIC Career Quiz helps you assess what’s accelerating or limiting your progress right now. Think of it as your personal career diagnostic — a practical first step to leading with more clarity, confidence, and impact.

Why Knowledge is Not Enough

At Elevate, we believe knowledge is only powerful when it’s applied. That’s why our participants complete the EPIC Career Self-Assessment Quiz at both the start and end of the programme – giving them insight into where they’re progressing and where targeted action is still needed.

We use this data to shape our training around what matters most – helping individuals not just learn, but act.

We also understand that even high-potential leaders can hesitate when it comes to critical moments – especially around difficult conversations or career-defining decisions. Often, it’s not a lack of skill holding people back, but a lack of confidence, clarity, or conviction.

When we reframe challenges – like a tough conversation – from a confrontation into a constructive dialogue, participants begin to see these moments as opportunities, not risks. And when that shift happens, everything changes.
Because knowing what to do is not the same as doing it – and doing it well enough to be recognised, trusted, and promoted.

As one of our recent participants, Sandra Alfredsson of Thermia AB, put it:

“It’s easy to hear something in a session and think ‘I already know that’ - but knowledge is only potential power. At first, I didn’t think I’d hear anything new. But over time, I realised it wasn’t about what I knew – it was about how I applied it. Thank you for a great programme!”
